My Story

 

I started doing yoga in 2000 and have been teaching Yoga, Pilates, Reformers and Meditation for over twenty years, and I am passionate about helping people move, breathe, and feel well in both body and mind.

 
My yoga journey began in Glasgow in 2006 when I trained with the Anahata School of Yoga. I became a full-time Hatha Yoga teacher. 
 
In 2007, my Pilates teacher encouraged me to train in London with Stott Pilates. I completed my training in the same year, and started working full-time as both a Yoga and Pilates teacher.
 
2014, this was the year that I trained in Reformers Pilates and taught in Kirkaldy for over a decade and I loved every minute.

 

2016, I worked with the a Yoga School, writing training manuals and helping students on their path to becoming teachers for over 2 years.

 

During Covid in 2020, I began running meditation classes, something I had always wanted to do. I love sharing the ancient techniques of breathwork, mantras, mudras, and yantras, which I find to be a truly fascinating practice.

 

Now in 2025 I have set up my own boutique studio, Wellness with Carmelina, in Kinross.
 
I offer small, personalised classes in Reformer Pilates, Yoga, mat work Pilates, and Meditation — both in person and online.
 
My approach to teaching is warm, supportive, and deeply rooted in experience. I believe in creating a welcoming and friendly space where students can build strength, find calm, and reconnect with themselves.

Reformer Pilates Sessions

Reformer Pilates takes your workout further with dynamic, full body movements on the reformer machines. Reformers strengthens and tones muscles, improves posture and alignment, increases flexibility and provides low impact support for joints, leaving you feeling stronger and more energised.

Yoga Classes

Yoga can help you feel stronger, more flexible and more at ease with both your body and your mind. it improves balance, eases stress, supports joint and heart health and leaves you calmer, clearer and more energised in daily life.

Pilates Mat Classes

Pilates strengthens your core, improves posture and builds long, lean muscles. Pilates also supports healthy movement, reduces aches and pains, increases flexibility and leaves you feeling stronger, more balanced and more confident in your body.

Guided Mediation sessions

Meditation helps to calm the mind, reduces stress and brings a sense of clarity and balance, it improves focus, supports emotional wellbeing and creates space for stillness, leaving you more grounded, peaceful and present in daily life.
